Excellent restaurant, portions ultra genere
We first came to Le Petit Saint Benoit on our honeymoon forty years ago! We visited many times subsequently for its authentic - but in those days quite basic!- cuisine.
These days it’s harder to find the sort of traditional bistro food for which Paris used to be famous: onion soup, eggs mayo, duck confit etc - Parisians in recent years seemed to have rejected it in favour of other cuisines. However… we were absolutely delighted to find Le Petit Saint Benoit unchanged in all the fundamentals ( they've not messed with the decor, hurrah!) and with a traditional - but elevated - and delicious menu offering.
Service was very friendly and very efficient and we were surrounded by enthusiastic Parisians.
What more could we want?
